Long-serving Arsenal Midfielder To Leave Club This Summer by Henry2405: 10:06pm On May 17
Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has confirmed that he is leaving the club at the end of the season.
The Egypt international has barely featured for the Gunners during the 2023-24 campaign, making just three Premier League appearances, all from the bench.

The summer of arrival of Declan Rice from West Ham United and his partnership with Martin Odegaard and Thomas Partey has kept Elneny firmly out of the starting XI.

The 31-year-old is currently Arsenal's longest-serving player, having secured a switch from Swiss outfit Basel during the January transfer window of 2016.

Since securing a move to North London from Switzerland over eight years ago, Elneny has made 161 competitive appearances for the Gunners, scoring six goals

Arsenal's Elneny confirms Emirates exit
Posted on Friday, Elneny released a statement on social media confirming that he will be ending his eight-year association with the Premier League title chasers.

"Gooners, I'm here today to send you a message, to say goodbye and thank you for everything you have done for me," said Elneny on a video uploaded to his official X account.
"The love, the support and the kindness. I am really going to miss you so much and you will be in my heart forever.
"I wanted to say how much I love you and how much you mean to me. I will never forget the way you supported me.
"I am going to see you on Sunday at the Emirates to say goodbye face to face, see you then."
